We enjoyed our fortnight at Villa Pheakon. Pete & Denise were helpfulness personified before we arrived and the villa was such that we didn't need their help after. When the Coptic winds blew, it was a joy to sit on the terrace and admire the acrobatics of the Barn Swallows. All in all a lovely villa and a terrific doing absolutely nothing holiday.

We just got back from a week’s stay in Villa Pheakon. The villa is situated 25mins from Paphos airport. We loved the villa, everything is decorated in modern style and quality furnishings and bedding. The views from the villa are amazing. The pool has steps built in, so it was nice and easy for the kids to get in. The beach is a 5 min walk from the Villa. Pissouri Village is a 10min drive with lovely restaurants. My recommendation would be A Bunch of Grapes, the food is lovely there. Pete was a great host and on hand whenever needed. Pam the local lady was lovely and on hand whenever needed. Wonderful stay at Villa Pheakon
We had a two week stay at Villa Pheakon and it was fantastic! There was everything there that you could have needed, all bases covered, home from home. The living accommodation was ideal with plenty of space. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and well tended. The pool and pool area were lovely and so relaxing. The lady who manages the villa was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back sometime soon, I hope.

The experience at Villa Pheakon and Pissouri Bay could not have been better! I spent a week with my wife and 2-year old son, and we enjoyed every minute. We all recommend a stay at Villa Pheakon for all who may consider passing this way. The entire process, from making leasing arrangements to "check out" was quite easy, thanks to Denise and Pete. It started with an easy drive from Larnaca Airport, and although I had to quickly adapt to driving on the "wrong" side of the road, the precise directions to the property helped simplify the adjustment. Upon arrival, again excellent guidance provided by the Owner's made it easy to get in and begin enjoying this beautiful Villa. We awoke to the most stunning bay view with the sun shimmering off the water. The Owner's local caretaker, Pam, stopped by to make sure we were comfortable and knew how to operate everything. She was so nice, and so very helpful. The layout is fantastic in this Villa, with views of Pissouri Bay from every room! And although we stayed over the New Year Holiday, the morning sun warmed us to the extent breakfast was Al Fresco on the upper level of the wonderful terraced patio with the magnificent Mediterranean backdrop. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and functional. The Village of Pissouri Bay is quite walkable, and most every morning involved a nice stroll down the hill to the local market to pick up some fresh milk, bread, or eggs. But it was oh so nice, as we arrived late the first night, to find a cache of staples stocked in the fridge! We love to cook dinners, and hence really appreciated layout and the well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the openness of the kitchen/dining/living area as we could all be together while preparing meals. Every recipe contained local, inexpensive and delicious wine...whether called for or not! And of course the standard rule of cooking…one part wine for the sauce, one part for the Chef, duly applied!!!The patio/grilling and the pool areas were wonderful, and even though we were off season, we enjoyed the outdoor area as much as the sunshine would allow. The pool is very clean, very inviting, but we will need to return just a bit closer to summer to fully utilize this prize. We were also pleasantly surprised on New Year's Eve by a midnight fireworks show over the bay, and what a view from the master bedrooms balcony! The location of Pissouri is perfect for seeing the south coast of Cyprus, and it is spectacular! We made excursions each day, and all included wonderful scenery and comfortable drives. Picnics on the bluffs overlooking the rugged coastline; walking amongst archaeological ruins; medieval castles; and quaint mountain/.; VJ JKUU villages were several of our most memorable destinations...and all within 1-hours drive! This was wonderful vacation in a fantastic location and a perfect villa. The experience could not have been better, the hospitality could not have been warmer, and the setting could not have been more beautiful! Superb holiday, very relaxing. Villa was everything we needed, well equipped and very homely. The weather has been amazing for the whole 2 weeks, very hot! We have been to Cyprus a few times, Coral Bay, Ayia Napa (when we were younger!) but Pissouri is everything we wanted! Would definitely come back again. Our 5th visit to Villa Pheakon. Yet again a fantastic week here. It’s been really lovely to visit at a slightly different time of the year, certainly not as hot as July/August, so the humidity is less which is great. We have been coming to Pissouri Bay for 10 years and have stayed in many villas on Vinelands and Katikotes. This was our first time staying at Odysseus Bay. The villa is superbly decorated and equipped – very homely. We have spent a very relaxing week here – mostly lazing around the pool. We arrived, after a delayed flight at 2345. The welcome pack in the fridge was much appreciated – bacon and egg butties at midnight on the patio with the wine! A very relaxing week and now leaving the glorious Cyprus sunshine – until next year.

A great holiday in Cyprus, will certainly be back. This has been our first visit to Cyprus and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. The villa is amazing, had everything you could need on a holiday, the Wi-Fi was a godsend with the two teenage boys. We had lots of BBQ's and saw the family of lizards most days. What a wonderful place the villa is. We said you have thought of everything that is needed which has helped our stay most enjoyable. Very central for travel around the island, we found it great that there were plenty of maps. We visited Polis, Limassol, Nicosia and Lefkara (lace place) and there was plenty more to do and see. Once wasn’t enough, so a year on, we’ve returned to Villa Pheakon and Pissouri Bay. As last year, we cannot fault this lovely villa. The pool is perfect and has provided us with daily fun and exercise! It’s also been great to sit out on the balcony and admire the view. We would strongly recommend turning out all the villa lights and sitting out on the sunbeds below the bedroom balcony to gaze at the stars up above. A treat rarely afforded to those of us living in well-lit towns and cities. The Wi-Fi is a must for all those visiting with teenagers, so it’s ideal for families with children of all ages.

Fantastic Villa. An extremely clean & well kept modern villa that really does have everything you need for your stay! Even cool bags & ice packs. A welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, cheese, bacon & a bottle of wine is provided for your arrival which is great especially if you arrive late in the evening. Wi-Fi is available at the villa which was great for our teenagers! Amazing views from the patio & especially from the master bedroom balcony. The pool is a good size, with lilos & inflatables provided. It is well maintained, the pool man visits twice a week. Papantoniou supermarket (about 10 minute drive) has a good selection of provisions and it is cheaper than the smaller supermarkets in Pissouri Bay. The beach is only a 15 minute walk away. It is a pebbly beach, I would advise beach shoes as walking to the sea from your sun lounger was uncomfortable. Wi-Fi is available at the beach. At the 'Yellow Ocean' sunbeds you are given a bowl of water to clean your sandy feet. There is a guide in the villa of places to eat which we found useful. It is very reasonable priced to eat in Pissouri Bay & also Pissouri village. There are lots of lovely Tavernas to choose from. Great communication with the owners, Denise & Pete. They answered all our questions before our travel & sent us detailed directions to the villa from the airport. We would most definitely highly recommend this Villa. Perfect. Villa Pheakon was perfect in every way – clean, comfortable and modern. We’ve had a fantastic week here. The villa is wonderful – very well equipped and comfortable. We have taken full advantage of the pool every day and after a couple of trips top Papantoniou’s supermarket, we’ve enjoyed cooking most evenings sitting out on the patio. Well presented at the beginning and was beautiful – the view from the villa is pretty amazing too. The villa was perfect, the neighbourhood was very peaceful everything all we needed was provided. We had such a wonderful time here at Villa Pheakon. We arrived late in the afternoon to the glorious sunshine and dived straight into the welcoming pool. The welcome goodies were appreciated – it meant we did not have to rush out and but could relax from the start – thank you. The villa was beautifully presented and has everything that you could want. It was our first visit to Cyprus and we felt the villa was in such a great location to see many of the main attractions. BBQ loads of times which were fantastic – super holiday and would def come back here next time we are in Cyprus.

We arrived late on Friday night and the welcome pack was most welcome. We have had the most relaxing week, just what we needed. The villa is superb, with everything you could possibly need. Didn’t hire a car but used the local bus to get around, very helpful driver and very cheap just ask in Pissouri Bay for the bus times. Tried most of the restaurants in Pissouri Bay all satisfied our test buds, local wines especially the dry whites very good. After a late afternoon swim Agamemnon on the beach is perfect for a cooling drink and a chat with the Cypriot owner. Thanks Denise & Pete for a holiday that we really needed, it’s been fantastic.

Derek and I have had the most marvellous relaxing holiday. We have visited and stayed in Pissouri a few times now and this villa is by far the best. The attention to detail is excellent, as previously stated by other guest the ‘welcome pack’ on arrival, and given it was very late when we arrived. The quality of the furnishings, towels etc. I have loved the early morning sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea and have successfully read 3 books whilst here. Arrived late in the evening and instantly felt at home. Provisions in fridge very welcome. Had a lovely, very hot week and would come again. Enjoyed waking up to the view from the bedroom, will miss that.
